I will say the car sounds great. Typical 70's engineering tho, a hamstrung engine and a possibly okay chassis combined to make typical 70's horse powers.

I’m guessing things have been done chassis-wise. I doubt the brakes are stock, and the wheels and tires are definitely wider than stock

I was looking into making a Sebring clone and then I decided to buy my Z. They are tempting....

Mmm I love MGB GTs. Saw a beautiful chrome bumper one, british green, when I was cruising in my own 72 Midget. I could not be happier with this car

a quick tippy tapp on the googlar: this guy has put a lot of effort into this car. He has a blog and a bunch of other MG projects.
It’s in German but Google Translate is scary good these days.

I had a '67 B-GT in college surprisingly practical daily driver, will fit a 200 pound drunk buddy in the hatch area. Because the have a roof and structural integrity they will take to a higher HP swap better than most old sports cars of the era. Friend has one with a Rover V-8, though he made it into more of a tourer than a race car.

These things are like miniature 1st-2nd gen Z/28's and Trans Ams with their SLA front suspension, leafs out back.
I’ve daydreamed of an MGB GT as a 911 slayer and this chap actually went out and did it. The family business is Oldsmobile V8's so the Buick-derived Rover v8's have always intrigued me. I’d like to build a coupe, but mimic the V8 versions.
I wonder how much you could scrounge from the late model Rover and TVR parts bin to muscle those things up.
